Nestlé USA began planning a new manufacturing facility for two of their dairybased brands. Knowing that the existing distribution network would be unable to support the increased volume, Nestlé decided to build a large warehouse and distribution center directly attached to the manufacturing plant. Several storage alternatives were considered for the 60,000 pallet position warehouse.
