The FloraHolland auction and sales process has gone digital, just like in any other business. Buyers at the auction used to sit on a stand. From there they would watch the trolleys of flowers and plants slowly pass by the auction clocks. Even today, the trolleys travel over the Dematic in-floor chain conveyor system through the giant halls, several hectares in size.
